Amsterdam Falafel and Kabob is the brainchild of Felice Anania, Anne Cavanaugh and Paul Kulik, co-workers at Omaha’s La Buvette and longtime friends. Working together led to a catering operation called Chef’s Table. The stand alone store was to be the next stop.

Frequent trips to Europe made clear what Omaha needs: a fresh, healthy, local, late-night fast food option. Amsterdam was the setting for this revelation: the sandwiches must be served on toasted leavened bread, packed with fresh marinated vegetables, and ooze with savory sauce. And fries should be dusted with curry and served in a cone. Falafels or Kabobs, the flavor is hearty, the portions filling, and the craving lasting.
